Are the costs of home school materials included in the tuition?
All of your online home school course materials including but not limited to home school textbooks, workbooks, eBooks, and others are included in the cost of your tuition. There are some items that parents will need to purchase independently of The Jubilee Academy. In these rare cases, any additional home school materials required to complete the home school course are clearly marked. All of our online home school courses come with a set of CDs containing necessary audio and video used by your home school student to complete his courses. There is a $7.95 per CD Rental Fee in addition to the regular tuition costs. Our home school courses are accompanied by 1-10 CD-ROMs with the average amount of four.
When will we receive our home school materials?
All home school course materials including but not limited to textbooks, home school workbooks, CD-ROMs and other learning materials should be delivered to all active accounts before the beginning of the academic home school year. Some home school course materials which are not needed until later in the year (most often these are second-semester materials) will be shipped on an as-needed basis.
What is the home school curriculum like? Does Jubilee supply eBooks, CDs, CD-ROMs, workbooks and other items?
Our Christian home school curriculum provides cutting-edge technology to provide a compelling and challenging online home school. Our proprietary system is designed to run well on dial-up Internet connections in addition to cable or DSL lines. Using innovative home school software, home schoolers can study, complete their assignments, take tests, and review their progress. Our Social Center is available for all students to chat with their home school peers, providing socialization within a home schooling framework.

How is my child placed in a home school course?
Christian home school parents can choose home schoolcourses for 6th - 12th grade home school students. PreK-5th grade home school students do not need to home schoolcourses chosen. You can change or add home schoolcourses at any time during the first thirty days of your enrollment for a $25 fee. There is no extra fee for dropping home schoolcourses.
What is the policy for a high school student graduating from the home school academy?
High school home schoolers cannot acquire a diploma from our online home school program due to the freedom we provide parents to alter our home school curriculum. However, you can feel free to pursue a diploma from your local public school or a home school association providing diplomas.
Do you have minimum standards for home school courses and instructional time?
The Jubilee Academy online home school program allows for 300 days of 24/7 access. There are 180 “days” of instruction included. We encourage our online home schoolers to check their local home schooling law to make sure they comply.
