In His Image Art and Joyful Sound Music 6-12: 20th Century Music

In In His Image Art and Joyful Sound Music 6-12: 20th Century Music, homeschoolers will follow the change involving both the economics and the social relationships inherent in the music of the 20th century, as the industrialized world gained access to radio, television, the phonograph, and later, digital music. This course will begin by having homeschoolers study the music of the early part of the 20th century, starting with the early Romantic style, and then progressing through the decades of Modernism, Post-modernism, electronic music, jazz-influenced composition, and various American music concepts, such as Pop music.  A wide range of musical venues will be studied, from classical compositions to the various styles of rock music.
