: KidAuthors is a creative place for kids to share their stories and poems for other people to read. Stories are posted by genre (mystery, fairy tales, etc.), and writers can fill out an easy online form.

Middle School Homeschooling Students

: This site has excellent activities to help children with their writing. “Stuff to do” is the page containing diverse writing exercises. There are story starters, another “Mad Lib” page, files for characters and plots, and skeletons (outlines) that help provide a start for writing ideas. There is also tips and lessons for teachers.
